Lucian M. “Luke” Allred is a passionate and motivated music educator, arranger, and performer located in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas. Luke has performed as a percussionist with several high-level musical ensembles including Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Conway Symphony Orchestra, and the wind ensembles of the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), and Hendrix College.
Luke is also an alumnus of 3 different competitive Drum Corps International (DCI) drum corps including the world class Crossmen and open class Revolution of San Antonio, as well as the 7-time DCI World Champions, The Cavaliers. Luke’s competitive career as a snare drummer with these ensembles spanned the five years of ‘11-‘16.
A student of Dr. Justin Bunting and Dr. Blake Tyson, Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education (B.M.E.) from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), and is a licensed Arkansas K-12 music educator. He has extensive educational experience in the classroom, the symphony hall, and the field with the marching band. He has provided percussion lessons to a multitude of students in the central Arkansas area.
Currently, Luke is pursuing his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the William H. Bowen School of Law. Consequently, his time has become limited to some performances and a small number of openings for rudimental snare drum lessons.

Luke is one of the most talented musicians I had the privilege of studying with during my time at the University of Central Arkansas. His experience in Drum Corps International, wind and orchestra ensembles, percussion ensembles, and jazz bands lend him to be a well-rounded and diverse candidate for any role.

Luke is one of the most hardest working individuals I ever met.
I had the pleasure of knowing him as a friend and as an extraordinary musician.
